LET THE RIVER RUN!

THE United Church broke new ground as it welcomed the One Voice Choir to Dorchester for the first time. The Weymouth-based choir performed a selection of music including classics, musicals and popular songs to an appreciative audience.

The programme, entitled Let the River Run, showcased the talents of musical director Grazina Ellis as well as soloists Hayley Jones and Alan Macintosh and guest guitar soloist Mike Botterill. The choir was also supported by pianist Phil Williams, drummer Matthew Brown and percussionist Matt Cornick. Dorchester town councillor Tim Harries, who was master of ceremonies on the night, said:
“I do hope the One Voice Choir will come back to Dorchester on many more occasions.”

The concert was recorded and anyone interested in a copy of the DVD can call 01305 815531.
